The Revolution is a publication by GenderFail founder Be Oakley, featuring statements and questions intended to inspire revolutionary action in all who read. This book is not a scholarly attempt to study past revolutions or to provide a history of the word “revolution.” Instead, it’s a guttural response to the idea of revolution. I am a disabled, low-income, working-class publisher and artist. My greatest hope with GenderFail has always been to inspire genuine revolution in the hearts and minds of my readers. Thus, I hope this book works as a sort of introduction or inspiration to further thought about how to bring about the post-revolutionary world. This publication is divided into two major sections (Statements and Questions) to think about what the revolution can be for each of us. Statements include: "The Revolution will destroy your capitalist comforts and conveniences," "The Revolution must deal with the wounds of white supremacy, colonialism, and capitalism," and many more
